Treat yourself to a morning of Yin & Yang filled with Fresh air, Fitness & Yoga to help create balance in your life.
Yin is dark.
It is feminine, quiet, soft, still and represents the moon.
Yang is light.
It is masculine, loud, hard, moving, and represents the sun.
The yin qualities of qi energy are responsible for moistening and cooling the bodily functions, and help the body and mind to settle and rest. If yin is deficient the body will lose its ability to maintain these vital functions and will ‘overheat’.
The yang qualities of qi energy are responsible for stimulating and warming the body and manifest as stamina and physical strength. When your body is yang deficient your bodily functions will begin to slow down and you’ll show signs of ‘coldness’.
The morning is a mix of Yin & Yang activities combining fitness, and wellbeing with traditional Hatha Yoga and the Chinese meridian system working with different Yin/Yang organ pairs.
Morning Of Yin & Yang Schedule
9.30 am – 10.30 am – Registration, Energy shot, Woodland Walk – Taking in the sights and sounds of Autumn.
10.30 am – 11 am – Legs, Bums & Tums – Always feels good to wake these areas of the body up and give them a little blast!!
11 am – 11.45 am – Slow Flow – Beautiful flowing vinyasa practice, standing & floor sequences connecting movement with breath.
11.45 am -12.45 pm – Yin Yoga – Static meditative practice with longer holds working on the deep connective tissues and with the Chinese Meridian system of Yin & Yang organ pairs.
12.45 pm-1 pm – Light refreshments served to your mat.
